Leadership

Jeremy, his wife Wanda, and their son Judah have been at EMC since 2012. He has a passion to help others understand the truth of scripture so that they might experience the freedom that only Jesus offers. Jeremy has a B.S. in History from Minot State University, an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled in a PhD. program at South African Theological Seminary.

Denny and his wife Kristine have been at EMC since 2009. He has a passion to walk with people in the "normal traffic patterns of life" in such a way that Christ is fully formed in them.
Denny is a retired warden who served in the Arizona Department of Corrections for 30 years.

Jenna, her husband Dan, and their three children Thomas, Joyce & Mabel have been at EMC since 2012. She has a passion for growing in gospel-centered womanhood with wives and moms with young children. Jenna has a B.S. in Alcohol and Drug Studies from Minnesota State University Mankato.

David, his wife Jessica, and 5 kids, plus foster children have attended EMC since 2008. He loves the Estrella community and the friends he made at EMC! He also coaches soccer at Estrella Foothills High School and has a passion for working with youth. He loves to guide them through these tough years by building a stronger relationship with Jesus and having Christian friends to rely upon. He has a B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona and is a licensed AZ realtor. 

Dan, his wife Jenna, and their three children Thomas, Joyce & Mabel have been at EMC since 2012. He has a passion for helping draw close to God through praise and worship as well as writing worship songs. Dan has a B.A. in Mathematics and a minor in French from the University of Minnesota.

Jessica, her husband David, and their five children have attended EMC since 2008. She has been involved in the Children's Ministry since 2014 working with the nursery kids through 5th grade. She loves working with the young children of the community as a substitute teacher. Jessica has a B.A. in education, and a teaching certificate. She loves staying healthy by running, hiking, and playing pickleball. 

Lisa has been with EMC since November, 2005 and has served as teacher and director for the Preschool Ministry.  She and her husband Ross have raised two boys who are now successful adults living in Texas and Virginia.  She is passionate about sharing her love of Jesus to the preschool students and their families while making learning fun.  Lisa has a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara in Psychology and a CDA in Early Education.
