Statement of Faith
The following are the core beliefs of Estrella Mountain Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Scripture
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments to be the inspired and infallible Word of God.
Sin
We believe that man is separated from God by sin and can only be united with God by turning in faith to Jesus Christ as God and Savior. The death of Jesus on the cross provided eternal forgiveness for sin and His resurrection guarantees eternal life for all who believe.
The Church
We believe the church is composed of all people who through faith in Jesus have been born again. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believer and binds them together; empowering the church to fulfill the mission Jesus has given her.
The Sacraments
We believe that immersion in water (Baptism) and the taking of the bread and cup (Communion) are acts of obedience to the commands of Jesus in scripture.
